Responsibilities

Perform composite layup and cut materials for layup according to work instructions
Maintain, label, and prepare materials for production log tickets
Assemble a variety of simple and complex Dayton Granger parts
Deflash, sand, and trim smaller composite parts as needed
Prep, load, and unload molds from ovens, presses, and autoclaves
Maintain tools, molds, fixtures, and equipment in the Composite Assembly area
Follow all company workmanship and quality standards
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Adhere to all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

Required

High school diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, resins) and bonding processes
Ability to read and follow blueprints and written work instructions
Comfortable using hand and pneumatic tools
Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and use required PPE (respirator, gloves, goggles, etc.)
Clear communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Preferred

At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, composites, or mechanical assembly
