Responsibilities
Build and validate targeted mass spectrometry assays for small molecules in cell culture media
Establish and document targeted LC-MS workflows and a metabolite library
Optimize, organize, and analyze experimental data for process monitoring and troubleshooting
Work closely with Cell Culture Development to deploy established methods that support ongoing cell culture initiatives
Generate and communicate precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner
Organize and document experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical Engineering or other related fields
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op
Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
Excellent written communication, oral communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Hardworking and motivated to drive both efficiency and quality
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, and appropriate handling of materials
Preferred
Familiarity with good lab practice to ensure compliance in all laboratory activities. Commit to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
Being adaptable to challenges, flexible and able to quickly adjust when the outcome of study deviates from initial design
Devotion to continuous learning of new knowledge and technologies
Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a team
