Tooling Coordinator

The Tooling Coordinator will perform various tooling inventory activities, manage tool movements, and ensure the accuracy of tooling inventory while serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries.

Responsibilities
Manage the inventory of tooling on-site (RWC-North) and at supplier locations, including performing disposition and asset identification tasks
Physically identify tangible assets (both RWC-owned and government/customer-owned property). This involves reviewing acquisition documents, determining ownership, classifying properties, assigning and affixing property control number barcode labels, and entering property records into SAP
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer tooling inquiries and respond to audit requests
Track and update tooling inventory in SAP, ensuring data accuracy
Maintain an organized tooling inventory both within the facility and in the yard
Assist with additional material control projects and perform ad hoc analyses as needed
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in tool management or a relevant field
Proficient in Excel and experienced with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
Must be able to operate a forklift
Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a team player who is detail-oriented, proactive, results-driven, and adaptable
This position involves work in both the factory and outside facility inventory areas
Physical Requirements: Reaching, typically at shoulder level or just below, is required approximately 50% of the time, with occasional over-the-head reaching
Lifting and carrying items typically less than 25 pounds for limited distances
Sitting is required for about 10% of the shift, with the remaining 90% of the time spent standing or walking
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
