Equipment Mechanic -Aerospace Industry- 1st shift

The Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems used in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities
Must be conversant with 480/220 volts AC used in pumps, starters and solenoids, etc. and be able to use multimeters and amp probes to check such systems
Must be proficient in the following trade skills: Stick Welding or Tig Welding, Brazing, Plumbing
Must be able to read mechanical and electrical blueprints and fabricate from prints
Must be able to use cutting and milling machines
Must be familiar with vacuum theory
Must know pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to repair surface media tumbling machinery
Ability to repair exhaust / extraction systems
Must be proficient in assembly and disassembly of components
Troubleshoot and repair Servo-Drives and DC power supplies
Must be capable of running forklift
Calibration of plasma and vacuum console gauges
Must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
Must be able to analyze mechanical and/or design problems as related to the process
Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing

Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds
Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds

Requires bending, kneeling, and confidence in working in confined spaces
