Licensed Mechanic III

Responsibilities

Inspect engine modules and engine components
Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
Identifying the status of the engine component and determine if any outstanding modification or airworthiness directive need to be incorporated
De-stack/disassemble engine components and/or accessories
Record and take measurements while dismantling, document with pictures as required
Prepare parts to get cleaned and repaired, clean, inspect, repair parts and balance as required
Route repairable parts to appropriate area and place orders as required
Assemble engine components and/or assemblies
Final release process – checking product for compliance
Reads technical specifications to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies
Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy
Closely adhere to all company safety, FAA, and any other regulations, as applicable

Qualification

Required

Must be authorized to work in the US
Minimum of 5 years aviation experience on Learjet, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, and/or Embraer
A current/valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average workday
