Jig Borer - 2nd Shift (DSC)

Responsibilities
Sets up and operates Jig Borer and Boring Mills using care in lining up and clamping work to avoid distortions
Works from complicated drawings for making production parts, R&D and/or first-run parts, on designed fixtures or with open setup
Precision bores, faces, counterbores and back spotfaces parts
Checks parts with dial indicators, micrometers and precision measuring instruments ensuring that the required close tolerances are held
Must have working knowledge of shop math to triangulate, make layouts and locate holes to be bored and calculate angles for setting precision equipment
Is required to operate a jig borer on diverse parts and materials

Three years jig boring or related experience
