Process Engineer
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies, and they are seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will lead quality activities, analyze process performance gaps, and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Lead quality activities within the Foundry department
Identify and analyze process performance gaps in manufacturing quality, lead time, and cost of tire curing molds
Define and implement new methods, projects, and ideas to reduce or close these performance gaps
Propose, develop, and implement new technologies and capabilities
Support production departments on existing technical installations
Improve working conditions, focusing on environmental, ergonomic, and safety aspects
Actively contribute to continuous improvement programs within the production department
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French and/or German
Equipment industrialization and/or process control
Root cause analysis and problem solving
Project management
CAD
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of metallic materials properties
Ability to work both independently and in a multicultural team
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a proactive attitude
Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Willingness to travel occasionally
Preferred
Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or IATF 16949)
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Experience in managing multi-level projects and applying project management best practices (e.g., project charters, stakeholder and communication management, delivery tracking)
Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR)
Programming of manufacturing equipment or macro programming (VBA, Python, etc.)
Experience in metal additive manufacturing (3D printing)
Experience in metallurgy and particularly in aluminum casting
Knowledge of CAD/CAM (preferably Catia V5; additional CAD tools)
Programming skills (e.g., VBA)
