Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall data science strategy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives
Lead the design and execution of advanced data science projects to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities
Oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
Drive innovation in data science practices and tools, staying ahead of industry trends
Qualification
Required
10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
2 years of experience leading others
Preferred
15+ years of experience in the payments industry with deep expertise in chargebacks, dispute resolution, and/or payment risk management
5+ years of experience in people management roles is critical. Prior experience in setting up global teams is desirable
Strong understanding of the payments infrastructure, digital wallets, acquiring and issuing banks, and regulatory environment globally
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across corporate and external ecosystems
Data-driven mindset with expertise in performance analytics and continuous process improvement
Experience in designing and managing chargeback or fraud dispute processes in a complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-regional payment ecosystem is highly desirable
