Repair Station Senior Technician

Responsibilities

Perform final inspections on completed work before it is approved for return to service. (Repair Station Only)
Ensure that hourly associates obtain appropriate training to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes
Assist and participate as required with all FAA, airline, AS9100, and other audits
Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives
Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and/or tooling to improve throughput, reduce scrap/rework, and improve product quality
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to determine the best manufacturing process design
Provide guidance and training to hourly associates
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and conforms to all quality standards and specifications
Maintain appropriate documentation for all work in accordance with company standards and customer requirements
Work with hourly associates to help meet Customer contractual deadlines (i.e., turnaround time)
Perform other related duties as required

Qualification

FAA ExperienceAerospace ExperienceQuality InspectionTeam Lead ExperienceTraining Skills

Required

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Previous FAA Experience
Background in Aerospace and/or Aviation
Previous Quality Inspection Experience
Experience in a Team Lead role
