Sales Manager Solar Industry
Imperial Star Solar is a U.S. solar manufacturer based in Houston, Texas, focused on providing reliable, American-made solar modules. The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing strategic sales plans, nurturing client relationships, conducting market research, and leading the sales team to promote renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue sales initiatives across different various types of solar assets: C&I, Residential, and Utility-Scale - and convert them into actual sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets, including sales and forecasting goals
Conducting market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth markets
Analyze sales data, provide regular reports to management, and provide ad hoc strategies to optimize sales performance
Work closely with marketing and any cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimize customer satisfaction
Lead and mentor sales members, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture
Perform all other duties as assigned due to changing needs of the sales team or the company
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 5 years in the solar industry B2B, preferably module sales is desired with a proven track record of successful sales and leads
Strong leadership and sales management skills
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and leverage data to make data-driven decisions
Deep understanding of the US market trends, including regulatory and navigating its nuances
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong listening and response skills
A courteous and customer-centric approach to your work

A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative prospecting and seeking leads that translate to potential prospective clients
Proficient in software: Microsoft, Google Suite, CRM (Zoho or related), contract management, and docusign
Preferred
Master degree or higher is a plus but not required
Fluency/conversational Chinese is a plus but not required
