Business Development Representative (Southern California - Southern Florida

They are seeking a Business Development Representative to engage and qualify businesses, working closely with sales and marketing to drive prospects into the sales funnel.

Responsibilities

Research and prospect qualified businesses in our marketplace nationally using the internet, social media, email, and our growing database
Set discovery meetings for assigned AE
Travel with/without AE to visit prospects, host conferences, etc
Contact said businesses by phone, email, social media, and other various forms of outreach
Assess if a lead has a genuine interest in the product, fits the target customer profile, and has the budget or authority to make a purchasing decision
Set online meetings with qualified leads for Account Executives in assigned territories
For leads that aren't ready to make an immediate purchase, BDRs engage in lead nurturing by maintaining regular contact to build a relationship, provide information, and address any concerns or questions the lead may have
Manage and update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate and up-to-date information about leads and interactions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business or related fields
Experience with cold calling a plus
Written and Verbal communication skills
Experience using MS Office and CRM
Excellent Time management and organizational skills
Experience in B2B sales
Previous work in a customer support role
30% travel required
