The role involves daily phone interactions with customers, addressing their questions about products and services, and promoting higher-priced items.

Responsibilities

Work with customers daily via phone
Handle retail customer service inquiries mainly for English-speaking markets. This includes the style of glasses, sunglasses, prescription questions, order status, warranty issues, etc
Introduce customers to purchase higher priced items, upgrades, or other add-ons to make more profitable sales
This job requires a patient and stable work style and consistency in dealing with repetitive routines
The job demands a cooperative, agreeable, and sympathetic listener who gets along with others and enjoys helping them
A customer service, team-oriented focus is of utmost importance. The job requires attention to the details of work, handling them with better-than-average accuracy and with careful attention to the quality of the work
The focus is on working comfortably under close supervision within a stable, secure team
The key to this position is outgoing, friendly, genial interaction with a wide range of people. This interaction requires a selfless, sympathetic interest in others
The work requires patience, stability, and consistency, with much interaction with others over long periods
There is a strong need for team interaction and involvement and a relatively low requirement for independent initiative and action

Availability for 30 - 40 hours a week with flexible shifts (weekends and/or evenings)
