Facilities Equipment Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
Troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain electrical control devices. (Variable Frequency Drives)
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent experience with trade certification and basic safety and power tools knowledge
2+ years of similar work experience preferred
Maintenance, installation, or retrofitting of facilities and wafer fab support systems
Ability to be multi-skilled and be able to work in a team environment
Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
