The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Transition Advisor position in the Enrollment Management, Academic UNLV CSN Transfer Center. This role is responsible for providing academic advising and major/career planning for students planning to transfer to UNLV, collaborating with various administrative offices and promoting diversity and inclusion among students.

Responsibilities

Provide academic advising and major/career planning for CSN students planning to transfer to UNLV
Work with various CSN and UNLV campus administrative offices to stay up-to-date on the curriculum and university policies and procedures
Provide accurate information to students
Work with swirl students and promote diversity, inclusion, and engagement to students moving to UNLV
Act as a liaison between the advising centers and other units across CSN & UNLV campuses as assigned by the Director
Collaborate and coordinate with enrollment management and college faculty and staff
Attend events for the UNLV/CSN partnership and travel to various locations as required
Collaborate with UNLV/CSN campus resources, including the Registrar's Office, Admissions, and Career Services
Provide leadership in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Director or other leadership
Support the transfer program's strategic plan
Contribute to increasing enrollment and promoting equitable student success

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
1 – 3 Years of Related Professional Experience
One year of work experience in a customer service-related industry (a Masters degree may substitute for work experience)
