Responsibilities

Work with R&D scientist in TPU formulation development and conduct literature review on targeted applications/market
Operate laboratory polymer testing equipment that support new product development and technical service objectives
Collect and summarize data to establish technical service objectives
Maintain and promote a safe work environment by complying with all site safety policies and procedures

Required

Pursuing a degree in Chemistry, chemical/Plastics Engineering, Material Science discipline or related engineering field
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completed junior year
Must be eligible to legally work in the US without sponsorship
Experience with experimental design, data collection, and analysis
Proficiency in literature review and research methodologies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enthusiasm for research and development

Preferred

Experience in polymer testing equipment: Instron, DSC, DMA, TMA, FTIR, Capillary Rheometer, Colorimeter, DIN Abrasion, QUV and Xenon Weatherometer
