The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Office Support Assistant IV in the Trulaske College of Business. This role involves providing essential business and office support for the Department of Finance, including administrative tasks, event coordination, and budget monitoring.

Responsibilities

Serve as a source of general information for full-time faculty, adjunct instructors, graduate assistants, alumni, and other staff and faculty of the College of Business

Provide continuing office and administrative support to Finance department chair (e.g., typing, calendar management, office reception, event planning, writing original correspondence, scheduling rooms/meetings)

Coordinate finance department events (e.g., advisory board meetings, programs, student groups, faculty meetings)

Maintain College course listings including the processing and updating of schedule changes

Facilitate all operational aspects of instruction including monitoring teaching loads, distributing predefined reports, and managing course evaluations

Collect and archive course syllabi; respond to requests for archived syllabi

Provide support in the processing, documentation and monitoring of unit budgets, funding, grants, contracts, payroll, employment, travel, billing and/or purchasing

Facilitate faculty recruitment process, including posting, candidate selection, and offer extension

Coordinate hiring and onboarding process for Finance part time instructors. Request all overload payments for the department
