Program Delivery Manager (AMER)

Responsibilities
Owns the end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise projects, programmes or portfolios, often spanning multiple jurisdictions or regions
Aligns delivery with strategic client outcomes, product adoption goals, and long-term business value
Prioritises and sequences initiatives to optimise impact, capacity, and client satisfaction
Establishes and maintains delivery governance across regions, programmes, and workstreams
Drives consistent execution using best-practice frameworks, tools, and reporting standards
Surfaces cross-cutting risks, dependencies, and blockers early, providing structured mitigation and escalation paths
Ensures consistent implementation practices, artefacts, and reporting across geographies
Implements and enforces programme-wide use of delivery tooling (e.g. Jira, ADO) and performance dashboards
Promotes global alignment while accounting for regional variations in regulatory and operational context
Acts as senior delivery lead for key client relationships, engaging with executive sponsors and cross-regional stakeholders
Provides clarity on delivery status, risks, and strategic trade-offs through structured updates and governance forums
Balances delivery urgency with empathy, influencing senior client stakeholders while preserving trust
Oversees programme-level financials, ensuring delivery aligns to commercial expectations including margin, resourcing, and burn rate
Partners with internal Commercial and Finance teams to structure Statements of Work, manage change control, and align commercials to evolving scope
Maintains strong commercial awareness to flag conflicts between cost, scope, and client outcomes early
Leads cross-functional project and programme teams across geographies in a matrix environment, ensuring cohesion and alignment to delivery goals
Coaches and mentors junior and mid-level Project Managers, fostering delivery discipline, stakeholder confidence, and career development
Creates a collaborative culture of ownership and accountability without requiring direct line management authority
Understands and can articulate key domain drivers such as KYC, onboarding, and financial crime compliance, translating them into actionable delivery plans
Supports clients in navigating regulatory readiness, data quality, and operational risk within programme delivery
Anticipates and addresses challenges of delivering into highly regulated, enterprise-grade environments
Can tailor communication to executive, business, and technical stakeholders, both internally and with clients
Translates complex delivery information into clear, actionable insight using structured reports, dashboards, and presentations
Influences decision-making at programme and portfolio level; challenges constructively and manages strategic escalations effectively
Qualification
Required
Degree educated or equivalent experience
10+ years in project/program management with 5+ in Global SaaS delivery
Led large scale SaaS transformations with responsibility for P&L or portfolios over £2m
Led large scale data migrations and platform integrations across multiple geographies including cutover planning and compliance assurance
Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders across business and technical domains
Deep understanding of delivery frameworks (Agile, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Preferred
Fintech Tier 1 bank experience and / or regulated environments experience (e.g. KYC, AML, GDPR)
