Responsibilities
Oversee multiple mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring all technical, financial, and schedule objectives are met
Serve as the primary executive interface with clients in the pharma/life sciences and data center sectors—building strong, trust-based relationships
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability; identify and mitigate risks while maintaining commercial discipline
Lead, coach, and develop project managers, engineers, and field leadership to deliver consistent quality and performance
Implement project management best practices, promote safety, and ensure compliance with all company and client standards
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposals, and expand the company’s regional presence
Coordinate with estimating, fabrication, and field operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
10–15+ years of experience in mechanical contracting with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and piping for complex facilities
Proven track record managing large or multiple concurrent projects ($10M+ in value)
Experience delivering projects in pharmaceutical/life sciences and/or mission-critical data center environments
Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility on major projects
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Deep understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in controlled environments
Preferred
P.E. license or advanced degree
