Responsibilities
Administer health, dental, vision, life, and disability programs, including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and 401(k)
Assist with annual open enrollment, new hire benefits enrollment, and life event changes
Act as a liaison between employees, vendors, and payroll to resolve benefits-related issues
Maintain benefits data within HRIS (UKG highly preferred) and generate reports as needed
Partner with leadership on benefit design, process improvements, and compliance initiatives
Oversee benefit invoice reconciliation and coordinate vendor calls
Provide resources and training to employees regarding benefits programs and policies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations
Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required
Minimum 2 years of direct benefits administration experience (not just as part of a generalist role)
Strong knowledge of FMLA/ADA/STD/LTD, open enrollment processes, and 401(k) administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and data imports/exports
Experience with HRIS (UKG preferred) and benefits compliance
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Must be a U.S. Citizen
