Consultant - Active Top Secret Clearance Required
The Clearing, Inc. is seeking a Consultant with an active Top Secret clearance to manage project lanes or small projects, ensuring financial performance and client relationship management. The role involves developing client-facing deliverables, facilitating meetings, and contributing to business development efforts while supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities
Manage project lanes or small projects to completion (scope tasks and manage resources (i.e., time, budget, people); forecast and track financial performance and contribute to invoicing reviews and approvals)
Develop and manage the production of high-quality client-facing deliverables
Support the design, coordination, and logistics of external and internal meetings; apply active listening skills and contribute to knowledge capture during meetings
Facilitate client meetings to achieve identified, desired outcomes
Develop meaningful and trusted professional relationships with clients; serve as the point of contact for one or more clients in a lane or project
Participate in business development and networking opportunities
Contribute to proposal development (writing and coordination)
Support and/or lead research, data gathering, and analysis to inform the development of client solutions; synthesize and present results clearly
Showcase critical thinking skills to evaluate needs, make recommendations, and partner with team members to refine thinking and approaches to client challenges
Onboard, train, and develop junior team members
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Top Secret clearance (or have had one within the past two years)
Bachelor's degree
4+ years of professional work experience, preferably in management consulting or another professional service or client-facing environment
Willingness and ability to travel to client sites in the surrounding DC and Baltimore metro areas; occasional travel outside of these regions could be expected (5%)
Critical thinking/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization and time-management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and adaptable mindset to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes client environments
