Responsibilities
Lead the development of high quality features based on requirements from product managers
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability
Be involved in code / design on occasion, collaborating with the engineering team to contribute to critical projects, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance when necessary while balancing leadership responsibilities
Operate high-efficiency teams by implementing quality practices, ensuring speed of delivery, overseeing architecture and design, and maintaining high code quality
Foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement through coaching, mentoring, feedback and clear measurable outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong technical foundation in Angular (frontend) and Java / Go (Backend)
Solid experience in microservice and serverless architecture
Experience with Database systems
8+ years of experience, including 1-2+ years' experience managing full-stack teams
6+ years hands on programming capabilities in Java and/or Go Lang
Track record in building large, horizontally scalable distributed systems
Intimate knowledge of different cloud providers and services, especially AWS and GCP
Experience building large customer facing applications
Successful experience with agile development and CI/CD processes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Masters preferred
Ad tech industry experience preferred
