The Quality Inspector will perform visual and dimensional checks on finished garments, communicate defects to production, and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

Document findings on end item and dimension sheets-Daily

Report findings on production board-Daily

Ability to work at various speeds depending on the complexity of the garment. Able to achieve 70% efficiency in 6 months time

Provide excellent customer service to internal customers-Daily

Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment – Daily

Utilize a teamwork approach for all projects-Daily

This position requires you to be focused on details, being able to detect broken stitches, missing components, missing bar tacks, measuring and looking for defects in workmanship

Participation in Peckham’s safety programs and ergonomic activities is required-Daily

Other related duties as assigned

This position is M-F 7:30am-4pm and may require overtime on Saturdays

Ability to read and interpret end item, dimension sheets and basic work instructions

Ability to write legibly

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and common fractions

Must pass the Peckham quality assessment

Ability to ask questions and voice concerns in relation to work and work environment

Preferred

Quality experience preferred but not required
