Responsibilities

Understanding and experience in all aspects of litigation, including procedural rules and courtroom rules

Drafting persuasive legal briefs and conducting exceptional research and writing

Handling routine court appearances, preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, and managing discovery and ESI

Preparing cases for mediation and/or trial, with evidentiary hearing and/or trial experience

Qualification

Required

2-5 years of litigation experience

Understanding and experience in all aspects of litigation

Understanding of procedural rules

Experience preparing and arguing motions

Taking depositions

Handling routine and/or complex discovery and ESI

Strong academic background

Excellent analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

License to practice in Michigan

Familiarity with the Michigan court system
