Responsibilities
Repair, maintenance and installation of production equipment, plant services equipment, buildings and other plant facilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by preventive maintenance
Ability to understand and follow operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Qualification
Required
Proven skills in mechanics, millwright, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and fabrication
Repair, maintenance and installation of production equipment, plant services equipment, buildings and other plant facilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by preventive maintenance
Ability to understand and follow operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Must have or be willing to obtain a Maine State High Pressure Boiler License
Must have the ability to work independently
Possess strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge
General knowledge of preventive maintenance, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and unit turnover work
Must have basic hand tools
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Climb ladders up to 20 feet
Work in tight spaces
Experience with computers is a plus
Preferred
Mechanical or preventive maintenance: 1 year
