New GradOur Children's Trust is a non-profit public interest law firm focused on securing legal rights for youth to a safe climate. They are seeking law students to support their legal team in various projects aimed at combating climate change through legal advocacy and strategic litigation.

Responsibilities
Support OCT’s legal efforts in local, state, federal, and/or international actions
Assist attorneys around the country and the world in their legal efforts
Conduct legal and evidentiary research
Draft legal memoranda
Draft, review, and edit complaints, briefs, motions, discovery requests, and declarations
Prepare for oral argument and trial
Assist with document review
Qualification
Required
Current law student
Ability to commit to working at least 10 hours per week during the Summer
Strong legal research and writing skills
Ability to conduct legal and evidentiary research
Experience drafting legal memoranda, complaints, briefs, motions, discovery requests, and declarations
Ability to prepare for oral argument and trial
Attention to detail and ability to work self-directed
Willingness to support youth advocating for science-based carbon emission reductions
Ability to work remotely or in the office in Eugene, Oregon
