Responsibilities

Develop and analyze system requirements, derive specifications, and manage requirements throughout the system lifecycle
Understand system architectures and interface designs, ensuring cohesive integration of subsystems
Able to read, interpret, create, and maintain spreadsheets, charts, reports, investigation and test plans, and procedures
Perform system and subsystem troubleshooting to a subcomponent level
Write effective verification test procedures ensuring system performance and capabilities meet system requirements
Perform verification and validation of systems and subsystems to ensure compliance with design specifications and customer requirements
Identify and solve problems using logical engineering thought processes
Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Visio, Doors, JIRA
Prepare effective presentations to communicate technical information to non-technical professionals
Communicate clearly (written and verbally) to technical and non-technical personnel
Aircraft system integration and ground/flight test support
Software coding and development
Work both independently and within a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, et al) is required to generate work products
Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms
Graduate Degree with two (2) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms
In lieu of a degree, minimum of eight (8) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communications platforms
Must have an Active Security Clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
