Pricing Data Analyst

As a Pricing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining pricing catalogs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting program teams in data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain pricing catalogs and collects and validates relevant data to ensure accurate estimating and invoicing
Apply a high degree of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of the information and compliance to contracts or any additional requirements
Ensure compliance, accuracy, precision, and reliability through a consistent, reliable process and standard work
Collect and validate all required data to calculate the credits, warranties, etc. and send to the customer account leader for validation and approval
Support the program teams in data collection and preparation of customer cost estimates and invoices
Work with finance to ensure the accounting for transactions are completed and correct
Submit the reports in a timely manner, following up to ensure that payments are remitted and/or paid timely
Work with finance or credit, including corporate functions, to ensure payments are applied and allocated to the right sector and business unit and any accounting issues are accurately resolved
Work with operations or engineering to correct data issues in the system that affects quality of estimates, invoices, or accuracy of credits and royalties
Maintain data sets and databases to uphold accurate price books and catalog used for estimating and invoicing
Perform analysis and data validation as needed
Provide administrative support to the programs team as needed
Continually monitor and review the standard work and process, identifying any improvement opportunities to improve cost, delivery and quality over time
Responsible for observing and reporting any issues or concerns in support of the company-wide quality, environmental and Safety Management System [SMS] policies
Measures relevant KPIs, and drives continuous improvement
Carries out additional projects as assigned

Required

This position is open to new graduates, early career professionals, and more experienced individuals
Post-secondary education or formal training in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics, or a related field is required
Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency required
Exceptional attention to detail and a conscientious approach to work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and professional development

Preferred

Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP, and CRM systems
Experience working in the aerospace field
