Responsibilities
Maintain, operate, and repair electrical systems
Perform installation and maintenance tasks to ensure effective operation of various electrical equipment
Install and repair of temporary power poles using hand tools and testing instruments to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components and isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors and other elements of electrical systems
Mount motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications
Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements of applicable safety codes
Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to update dispatch when on and offsite and to receive additional instructions, and for changes to work locations
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years experience as a journeyman electrician
Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial)
Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
