Responsibilities
Prepare detailed project plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to produce high-quality deliverables within established timelines
Conduct thorough research and analysis to support design decisions and problem-solving efforts
Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to create accurate and efficient engineering designs
Assist in the preparation of calculations, reports, and documentation related to project submittals
Interface with clients, review agencies, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues that arise
Participate in site visits and construction meetings to ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve any onsite challenges
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in civil engineering design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
EIT (Engineer in Training) preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
