Responsibilities
Lead a team of technicians, coordinating with them on tactical execution of team tasks and supporting their career growth
Coordinate with our project management team and technical program managers to sort priorities and track tasks and timelines on Jira
Collaborate with design engineers to review designs and determine the best build process possible
Collaborate with test engineers to review test campaigns and test set-ups to support test execution and data collection
Develop and maintain standards for the team including documentation, build quality, manufacturing process instructions, test cards AND hold yourself to these same standards
Manage prototype and lab space build inventory, from periodic stock tracking to part ordering supporting test equipment and EOL builds
Provide weekly updates to the wider organization on team plans and progress towards completing them
Work with other leads to manage technician resources across the department given project needs

Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented and organized
Notices small changes in hardware (corrosion, wear, slippage, loosening)
Able to keep multiple units of the same design organized
Able to track data and draw conclusions
Comfortable operating without strict SOPs
Mechanically inclined
Comfortable operating standard shop tools w/ basic training
Extremely comfortable with hand tools
Tech-comfortable
Feels comfortable with or is willing to get trained up on remoting into testers (SSH, VNC)
Can troubleshoot basic electronic setups (blow fuses, loose ground wires)
Aware of build practices
Torque specs/false torque
