Lockheed Martin is supporting the warfighter through their Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract. As an Aircraft Mechanic II, you will perform installation, adjustment, alignment, and troubleshooting for major aircraft weapon systems, specifically for the C-130 aircraft.

Responsibilities

Performance of overhaul and repair of weapon systems, their assemblies and components, such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic and flight control systems
Troubleshooting aircraft systems, components, or subassemblies to make determination on proper operation
Identification of malfunctions and corrective action required (whether portions must be repaired or replaced)
Disassembly, repairs and reassembly of major aircraft systems, their assemblies and components
Connects related systems to the newly installed or repaired units, and makes adjustments to the units and their related mechanisms to assure their proper operation
Installs, aligns and functionally and operationally tests the various major and minor mechanical and pneumatic systems on the aircraft during overhaul or modification
Engine removal and installation, jacking and leveling, alignment and retraction checks, and other related routine tasks
