Responsibilities
Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Offer product suggestions when appropriate
Stock and rotate department products efficiently and safely to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Operate department equipment and tools. Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management. Work both independently and with a team executing all tasks as directed
Notify management of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy
E-Commerce orders: Assisting customers with pickup order, ensuring order accuracy and delivering to customers vehicle
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to communicate, understand and follow English instructions
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
High standard of integrity and reliability
Basic computer skills are required to participate in online training
Knowledge of customer service fundamentals and experience supporting a people-first culture across the store
0-3 Years Minimum Relevant Experience
Preferred
High School/GED
Experience in retail grocery business fundamentals: Inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
