IT Application Developer I
Batteries Plus is looking for an IT Application Developer I to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you'll support the design, development, and maintenance of custom software applications, collaborating closely with analysts and engineers to create scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of custom software applications based on user and business requirements
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established standards and best practices
Test, debug, and validate software to ensure quality and performance
Collaborate with analysts and developers to identify system improvements and enhance user experiences
Support the deployment and installation of new applications and updates
Analyze existing applications to identify defects and recommend improvements
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to process and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of software development experience preferred
Proficiency with: Languages/Frameworks: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET MVC
Proficiency with: Tools/Technologies: Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative IT environment
Preferred
Exposure to: SharePoint, BizTalk, LINQ, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, TFS, jQuery, XSL/XSLT, WCF, or automated testing frameworks
