Responsibilities

Analyze and provide insight into key financial areas, including sales, gross profit margins, operating costs, and working capital

Oversees all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

Prepares month end, quarter end, and year-end financial statements

Ensure business processes and accounting policies are adhered to and provides ongoing support to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Oversees the use of ERP software to ensure processes are followed and data accuracy is maintained

Assists with supporting any audit questions

Review and understand upcoming projects (backlog) and pipeline to build short and long-term forecasts

Analyzes variances from budget and prior periods, discusses results, provides insight and recommendations to key stakeholders

Involved in modeling and contracting for larger jobs, ensuring accurate forecast of profitability, and identifying risks in T&Cs

Ad hoc analysis and modeling as needed

Contributes positively to group culture and employee/customer relationships

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments to address evolving business needs
