Director of Agency Partnerships

Responsibilities
Establish overall business or technical strategy for the organization
Influence decisions as an advisor or counsel at the executive level
Focus on strategy development and long-term planning
Drive significant impact on the success of operations through strategic initiatives
Collaborate with executive leadership to align product sales strategies with organizational goals
Own the global relationship across all major holding companies and independent agencies, establishing strategic alignment between PayPal Ads and agency leadership (at both holding company and agency brand levels)
Drive agency revenue through proactive engagement, integrated media planning collaboration, and development of co-branded go-to-market initiatives
Build and execute an annual joint business plan (JBP) outlining revenue targets, activation strategies, enablement programs, and measurement frameworks
Represent PayPal Ads as a senior voice in industry forums, agency summits, and executive briefings — reinforcing PayPal’s role in the evolving commerce media ecosystem
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Data Science, Product, and PayPal’s broader commercial teams to deliver scaled and integrated solutions for Publicis clients
Lead forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management for the agency partnership; ensure accountability, consistency, and transparency across all engagements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in digital media sales, agency development, or holding company partnerships, with a strong track record in driving agency revenue
Deep familiarity with all major holding company structures, operating models, and agency brands
Proven ability to navigate complex organizations, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment around strategic initiatives
Expertise in commerce media, retail media, programmatic, or data-driven advertising ecosystems
Exceptional communication and executive presence — comfortable representing PayPal Ads in C-suite conversations
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a data-led mindset and business acumen
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred
Experience working within or alongside agency holding companies at a global or regional level
Demonstrated success in launching or scaling ad platforms, particularly in retail or commerce media
Deep understanding of advertiser KPIs, measurement frameworks, and attribution strategies
A passion for innovation, collaboration, and building new capabilities in a fast-evolving ecosystem
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
