They are seeking a Test Technician to support their manufacturing team by testing, troubleshooting, and repairing oscilloscopes and probes, while collaborating with product design engineers to bring new products to life.

Responsibilities

Test, troubleshoot, and repair oscilloscopes and probes
Operate software-driven test stations
Interpret production drawings and schematics to identify and resolve failures
Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, network analyzers, multimeters, power supplies and custom-designed fixtures
Provide feedback to the engineering team to improve test processes
Assist in evaluating test procedures, equipment, and workflows
Contribute to documentation updates
Document production unit issues and defects in tracking systems for metrics and future analysis
Participate in team meetings and support key metrics and initiatives

Required

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, waveform generators)
Ability to interpret production drawings, schematics, and manufacturing procedures
Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions written in English
Above-average computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 35 lbs

Preferred

Genuine interest in the electronics industry
Experience with coding, scripting or databases
Basic soldering ability
