Instrumentation and Controls Intern Summer 2026
Westinghouse Electric Company is a leading provider of clean energy solutions. They are seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Intern for the summer of 2026 to develop expertise in fuel manufacturing and support the construction and operation of nuclear manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities
Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and troubleshooting of fuel manufacturing sites
Develop technical expertise fuel manufacturing supporting the CFFF and new construction of the LEU+ manufacturing site
Work with Engineering Mentor to develop skills for Safety Basis in a Nuclear
Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear manufacturing facilities
Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with internal and external Westinghouse customers
Develop specifications for replacement parts in the manufacturing environment
Follow plant standards for design and implementation of projects at the CFFF
PLC code review, programming, optimization, and visualization – Allen Bradley and GE
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completed Sophomore year of college
Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues
Open to limited travel
PLC programming experience
HMI Visualization experience
