Responsibilities
Design and build user-facing features, collaborating closely across the stack
Work closely with Product and Design teams to turn ambiguous problems into clear, small bets that deliver customer value
Utilize external services and APIs where they provide leverage, allowing us to focus our time on what differentiates Envoy
Improve the platform: pay down tech debt, evolve shared components, and raise the bar via code reviews and pairing
Elevate your team by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and driving technical excellence
Qualification
Required
A BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
6+ years building production web applications, including shipping React frontends and a strongly-typed backend (e.g., TypeScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Ruby)
Experience designing and building backend services, databases, and APIs
Fluency in modern workflows: Git, CI/CD, feature flags, testing at multiple layers, and cloud deployment
A product mindset: you care about usability, performance, and measurable impact
Preferred
You're excited about working in a startup environment and taking new products from 0 → 1
You have experience with React and Ember.js migrations
You contribute to open-source projects
