Senior Utility Engineer

Responsibilities
Managing scope, schedule, and budget for utility infrastructure projects
Building strong client relationships and being the main point of contact to a variety of utility clients
Representing AECOM at meetings with NJTA, NJDOT, and municipal clients as well as utility owners to resolve utility conflicts on highway projects
Directing a team to perform record research, including utility as builts, development of SUE programs, identification of conflicts and designing relocation schemes acceptable to the companies
Reviewing and assisting with development of private utility alignments to avoid utility interferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus six years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
NJDOT Professional Engineer (PE) license
Preferred
10+ years of experience with utility engineering services
Experience in utility engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of utility relocation processes, standards, and regulations for NJTA and NJDOT
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in engineering software and tools
