Responsibilities
Responsible for executing, monitoring and reporting interferences for all of Engineering
Arranging & coordinating 3D model reviews for areas as required per the project schedule or as directed by the PE/PEM
S3D modeling as required to support generation of General Arrangements, HVAC orthographic drawings or piping isometrics
Coordinate 3D model activities, interference reconciliation within the discipline and with other physical disciplines
Ensures that engineering designs performed by the discipline team are coordinated with the overall team and are consistent with project technical requirements and scope
Qualification
Required
AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7-8 years of experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
Experience using Smart Plant Interference Manager
Hands-on experience using a 3D piping design platform and isometric extraction (S3D preferred)
Knowledge & application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes
