Jr Designer/Developer
Batteries Plus is looking for a Junior Designer/Developer to support the creation of engaging, user-friendly digital experiences across their eCommerce platforms. In this hybrid role, you will assist in designing wireframes and prototypes, implement web features, and maintain brand guidelines while collaborating with senior designers and the eCommerce team.

Responsibilities
Assist in designing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation for digital experiences
Support the implementation of new web features and components in collaboration with the eCommerce and CX teams
Maintain and apply brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency and accessibility across all designs
Help optimize user flows through UX feedback, data analysis, and usability testing
Contribute to maintaining asset libraries, design systems, and documentation
Write and test front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to implement designs
Troubleshoot minor front-end issues and support development tickets as needed
Stay current with digital design trends, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of professional design or front-end development experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
Portfolio demonstrating both design and development capabilities required
Preferred
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
