They are seeking an early-career Electrical Engineer to support the design and execution of electrical systems for major projects, including power plants and pipeline systems.

Responsibilities
Support the design, specification, and analysis of electrical systems, including substations, MW switchgear, LV Motor control centers, load analysis, and instrumentation that supports rotating equipment
Assist in project execution, from feasibility and front-end engineering to construction support and commissioning
Perform calculations, material selection, and electrical integrity assessments
Work closely with project managers, field personnel, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and safety compliance
Participate in inspections, failure analysis, and reliability improvements of mechanical systems
Prepare engineering deliverables such as datasheets, reports, and drawing reviews
Follows prescribed procedures and conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations
Will work non-traditional hours as needed
This role will be up to 80% travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related field
0 to 5 years of mechanical engineering experience (internships or co-ops in oil & gas are a plus)
Familiarity with electrical equipment used in pipeline or terminal operations
Working knowledge of CAD and engineering analysis tools (voltage drop, conduit fill, ohms law, and general electrical engineering calculations)
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a proactive mindset
Ability to work in both office and field environments as needed
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel)
Knowledge of basic Engineering principles
Knowledge of the NEC/NFPA 70E
This role will travel up to 80%
Works under direct supervision but displays initiative and moves toward requiring less supervision
Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work
Preferred
Exposure to midstream project work or operations support
Experience with pump or compressor station design
Root cause analysis or mechanical integrity experience
