As a CAD/CAM Specialist, you will lead the planning and execution of manufacturing processes and collaborate with various engineering teams to optimize manufacturing methods and support development projects.

Responsibilities

Set up, program and run 3-5 axis CNC machining center to manufacture medical devices

Follow documented procedures and work instructions to manufacture quality parts

Develop machining fixtures for the manufacture of complex medical devices

Conduct process validations, make process adjustments and assist in completion of PFMEAs

Aids in the selection of new manufacturing equipment

Strong adherence to quality requirements per the QMS

Follow safety standards

Keep work station and environment organized and clean (5S)

Support operations with troubleshooting of secondary processes e.g., lasermarker, grit blaster, buffing tools, etc

Support manufacturing with primary operations of CNC equipment including set-ups, offsetting, and changeovers

Develop CNC programs and fixturing for new product launches

Support product development in the manufacture of prototype devices as needed

Identify and participate in continuous improvement programs

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
