Responsibilities
Guide customers through the Thornton & Grooms Sales Process, ensuring every step reflects professionalism and care culminating in a 5-STAR experience
Conduct a comprehensive needs analysis using our prescriptive survey and document findings thoroughly
Perform heat load calculations to ensure proper equipment sizing and long-term comfort
Document the installation environment with photos and videos
Collect payments and/or process financing applications
Complete all electronic and paper forms accurately and on time
Maintain open communication with Sales Lead Coordinator, Sales Manager, Installation Manager, and Installation Coordinator
Deliver an exceptional customer experience that generates testimonials, reviews, and referral leads
Continuously expand knowledge of HVAC products, standards, and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
Proven success in customer-facing sales, with a proven strong closing rate
Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, punctual, and highly organized
Growth mindset and passion for continuous learning
Flexible schedule (some evenings and Saturdays)
High school diploma or equivalent
Clear 9-panel drug test, background check, and clean motor vehicle report (3 years)
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, climb stairs, and work in crawlspaces, basements, and attics
Use of hand tools and moving HVAC equipment
Must maintain clear vision, hearing, and speech for effective customer interactions
