New Grad, Entry LevelGeneral Engineering Company (GEC) is hiring a part-time, seasonal Cross Connection Control Inspector to help support municipal water safety efforts across Wisconsin. The role involves field inspections of plumbing systems to identify actual or potential cross connections and educate property owners on compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
Inspect plumbing systems for cross connections and potential backflow concerns
Conduct site visits at facilities throughout various Wisconsin communities
Accurately document findings using provided software or forms
Educate customers and property owners on cross connection control requirements
Ensure compliance with WI Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and SPS 382.41 regulations
Coordinate your own inspection schedule with program coordinator
Qualification
Required
Experience in plumbing or building inspection
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Tech-savvy enough to complete electronic documentation and reports
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
Strong, positive communication skills with clients
Preferred
Journeyman or Master Plumber license
Familiarity with cross connection control or backflow testing
