Insurance Manager

Responsibilities

Lead a team which consists of Insurance representatives and supervisors responsible for delivery of industry-leading results to hundreds of medical practice clients
Inspire high employee engagement and dedication to facilitate great client service
Assist with establishing policies, workflows and procedures to meet business goals
Supervise the workflow, development of specific plans and goals and performance of team members, including providing ongoing performance feedback and participating in the annual staff performance evaluation process
Uphold company policy by providing feedback to employees and ensuring position responsibilities are being met
Serve as subject matter expert for healthcare insurance reimbursement related functions
Monitor aged balances of all accounts; ensure delinquent accounts are follow up on timely
Manage and monitor inventory and performance KPI’s to ensure projects are meeting performance expectations
Exceed contractual-based recovery rate minimums for all applicable clients
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Results-Driven with strong leadership skills
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Demonstrates the ability to coach, motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
Able to work independently under aggressive timelines while managing multiple projects
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Expert knowledge of documentation and reporting tools, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Proven ability to analyze reports and documentation
BA/BS Degree in related field or combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 5 years in healthcare insurance collections preferred
Minimum of 2 years in a management role leading healthcare or collection agents

Experience with Latitude and/or LiveVox preferred
