Vail Resorts is a leading company in the hospitality industry, looking for a Host at their new luxury property, Kindred Resort, located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado. The role involves being the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming first impression

Manage reservations and waitlists with courteous and efficient phone and in-person communication

Monitor dining room flow and pace to ensure smooth seating and guest satisfaction

Support servers and attendants by coordinating table turns and offering assistance as needed

Acknowledge departing guests with genuine appreciation and kind remarks

Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and follow leadership guidance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe host station and front-of-house area

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualification

Required

Previous restaurant or guest service experience preferred

Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Fluent English communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs

Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
