Responsibilities

Develop requirements, specifications, and solutions for corporate enterprise networks from inception to completion under general supervision
Design, implement, and maintain a corporate, campus-wide Cisco LAN plant with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks
Coordinate with Vendor Project Managers, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate technical solutions and user satisfaction
Provide expert technical support for network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Integrate network hardware and software solutions to support organizational and mission objectives
Assist in planning and implementing network security, redundancy, and high availability solutions

Required

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive IT experience, including at least two projects in technical areas aligned with the task requirements
At least one project within the past three (3) years demonstrating relevant expertise
Expert experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN equipment, software, and associated network hardware
Minimum three (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions
Proficiency in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Strong understanding of network architecture, security, and routing protocols
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification:
COMPTIA Security+ CE
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
COMPTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industriel Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
Secret – IT-I (Tier 5/SSBI) Critical Sensitive Clearance
