Responsibilities
Mechanical & Electrical Repairs: Service, repair, adjust, and test elevator systems, devices, and equipment based on mechanical and electrical principles
Attention to Detail: Detect and resolve performance issues, ensuring safe and reliable operation of elevator systems
On-Call Rotation: Participate in a scheduled rotation for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, or repairs
Independent Work: Manage emergency calls and repairs independently while maintaining high-quality service
Fit-for-Duty: Meet physical requirements for the role to handle various tasks efficiently
Travel: Be available to travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays
Team Support: Work collaboratively on repair projects involving heavy lifting and specialized requirements
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician
Valid Elevator Mechanic Credentials: State elevator licenses will be considered with additional experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills
Ability to meet the fit-for-duty requirements, including physical tasks
