Responsibilities

Spearhead the design, development, and validation of battery systems, collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams
Develop and execute robust test plans for cells, packs, and integrated products, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices
Analyze complex test data, generate actionable reports, and recommend improvements to enhance product performance and safety
Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring all system requirements are met
Lead root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for product and process improvements
Stay current with the latest trends in battery technology, regulatory compliance, and market innovations
Drive multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and delivering on aggressive timelines
Provide technical guidance on material selection, thermal management, and system integration
Maintain and improve engineering documentation to support quality manufacturing and product integration

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field
3+ years of hands-on experience in battery systems engineering, with a strong focus on lithium-ion technology
Deep understanding of battery management systems, charging strategies, and regulatory standards
Proven ability to manage complex projects, solve technical challenges, and communicate effectively with diverse teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
Experience working with suppliers and leading technical discussions independently
